The Fitness Industry Group is an advertising co-operative that provides industry suppliers and consultants the opportunity to pool their contacts and market to club owners and managers while educating them on how to do better business. FIG provides participants the chance to raise their credibility by virtue of association, business category exclusivity, multiple channels of distribution, outstanding reach and frequency, and the chance to capitalize on the changing and growing trend in new media marketing ventures.

The Fitness Industry Group (FIG) is a combined network of industry consultants and suppliers who have developed a co-operative marketing system as a means to tap into each other’s buying contacts using new media marketing methods including web-based technologies and social media. FIG is not a profit-center – it’s a business expansion co-operative. Your annual payment goes towards the design, development, hosting, organization and maintenance of the FIG website and social media advertising initiatives.


Marketing Co-operative. Using our combined power, we combine our contact lists resulting in extended advertising reach and greater exposure for the group.

Business Category Exclusivity. To increase the value of this joint venture, only one business per category will be featured as a FIG Partner. This is not a referral or affiliate program. Referrals are welcome, but not required, to participate in this program. Fig is simply a way for like-minded businesses to benefit from each other, gain exclusive advertising exposure and recognition with no competition.

Online Media. FIG uses the power of Web 2.0 technology to provide partners with the full benefit of content management and a wide range of opportunities to educate and advertise. As a FIG partner you will receive:

  • Exclusivity in your business category

  • Blog section dedicated exclusively to your company's educational articles 

  • Monthly marketing to 25,000 club owners worldwide using combined methods of traditional email

  • Weekly social media marketing through the FIG Blog, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube Channel

  • Your company website wrapped inside the main FIG website

  • Spotlighted positioning in our FIG fitness business directory

Educational Value. Every month each supplier will get a full-page editorial opportunity on the FIG blog hosted within the sales website and promoted through a widely-distributed newsletter. Each issue will provide you with multiple opportunities to promote your business. To add reader value and reduce spam perception, editorial ads are required to be educational in content. You provide us with your written educational content and we’ll do the rest.

Opt-In E-News. Using the power of a built-in newsletter program, a monthly FIG branded e-newsletter will be sent to our combined email lists (currently includes 25,000 club owners and general managers). Market My Club will manage the production and distribution. FIG Partners are encouraged to send an announcement to their private list requesting clubs take advantage of receiving free education by visiting the FIG website and registering to receive our monthly newsletter.

Cost Effective, Meaningful Marketing
For roughly the cost of one regular ad in an industry print publication, you can get regular, highly-targeted e-newsletters, blogs, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube advertising PLUS dynamic space on a specialized content management website receiving hundreds of thousands of impressions through a multiplied email list. By collaborating with each other, we create a dynamic web presence as an answer to more costly traditional media. It is in each other’s best interest to help facilitate this joint advertising venture.

Consultants Co-Op
Ideal for industry consultants that wish to submit regular educational content while advertising their services through all available channels.

Annual package includes:

  • 12 email blasts (1 per month)

  • 104 Twitter promotions (2 per week)

Ideal for industry suppliers that do not wish to participate in the educational program requiring regular editorial submissions.

Annual package includes:

  • 12 email blasts (1 per month)
  • 52 Facebook promotions (1 per week)
  • 104 Twitter promotions (2 per week)
  • Virtual Shop on FIG's Shopping Network
  • Premium listing on the FIG Directory
Investment
$2500 paid in full for 12 months
OR $230 per month for 12 months

Payments: Category exclusivity subject to a 12 month term, renewable annually. Monthly payment agreement subject to a 10% surcharge with a non-refundable first and last month dues paid by credit card on account activation. Last month dues covers the 12th month of service if your account is in good standing. We provide a 30 day grace period for delinquent accounts at which time the last month’s dues are forfeit and your category will be released for sale. Last month due.

Multiple Category Listings: You may reserve multiple categories with a 25% discount on each additional category up to 3 categories. Same terms and conditions apply.

Regions: Category exclusivity reserved only in your main selling region (per country or continent). You may reserve multiple regions with a 25% discount on each additional region. Same terms and conditions apply.

Content: You are responsible for providing your content. We reserve the right to edit content at our discretion. Monthly editorial deadlines and publication dates are listed on our Advertising Schedule.
