Independent Health Club Networking Association Trust in the power of the little person. All of the members of this organization have set their sights on being successful in the health and fitness industry and all run independently owned, single site health clubs. Many run small fitness centers no bigger than a boutique. But others are operating large scale facilties. Whatever the case may be, each has experience and skills to share with each other. Why has the industry set itself up such that managers/owners have to attend national conferences and pay large sums of money just to network and learn what works? Those conferences are of great benefit, but in the age of cost containment, its not very economical for small budget operations. Then professionals have to join those associations, with several hundreds of dollars in dues each year, just to get follow up information. The Independent Health Club Networking Association is set up to help the little person get to that information without the burden of breaking the budget.
Sharing and Consolidation Through sharing and consolidation of information ihcna brings an advantage to the fingertips of an independent club's management. The ihca.org acts as a data warehouse and point of contact for independent clubs. It will be conducting surveys, collecting links, finding prefered suppliers, and sharing what works. A newsletter will be emailed to all members monthly, sharing ideas submitted, new products that have debuted, new literature published, and results from surveys. All of it for FREE with the participation in the organization's collection of "What Works". You share, the organization shares. Its that simple! |
